Cbs Registry Error
I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it was rampant. Check SUR was reporting the two CBS registry errors mentioned in this post, and I was wondering if these errors were related to the failed updates. Hi readbtlines1, I'm not quite sure why that SFCFix script failed and will get back to you when I've investigated further but for now let's have a look why the SURT I've attached my CBS log and a CheckSUR file, and it looks like a corrupt CBS registry file. If that didnt work for you, then manual copy will be your only other option. Checksur.log Location Since they are all the same KB, I downloaded that kb's .msu file but nothing happens. With that exported package, I can use DISM to reinstall/repair a matching version of the component that *should* be installed in a non-functioning image/"system". In the end, I'm not exactly sure what exactly solved the problem, but I was able to install the updates.

Corruption is one of those things that just happens on PCs. Coulda probably saved it all if I'd just had a way to "un-remove" a package using a working system as a reference… :/ … Gotta ask, though. Registry errors usually happen when new programs get installed over old programs, without all of the components being uninstalled properly.
