Miraculous results, it worked and continues to work! Again, these fixes should only be considered for a camera that's out of warranty, who's cost of repair would be excessive, and would otherwise be considered for disposal if unfixed.CR May Sometime it would make two attempts to extend out but would always go back in and report the failure. mine is a Samsung S630, just bought it three days ago.

All the internal circuitry and mechanical parts were covered with bits of tobacco and food debris. Sometimes a lens can be damaged in a fall beyond repair.
