This never happens on Windows, where I spend most time. even tho i have a very good laptop, 6gb ram, amd phenom II x4, ati mobility radeon 5650. The first six integer or pointer arguments are passed in registers RDI, RSI, RDX, RCX, R8, and R9, while XMM0, XMM1, XMM2, XMM3, XMM4, XMM5, XMM6 and XMM7 are used for OSX 10.9.1 Any suggestions?
Is the Joker Based on anything? The method which doesn't give you the bus error is one which re-populates all bits of rax. Just make sure the 1.5 and 1.5.0 symlinks are pointing to your actual 1.5 JDK and you should be back in business.Or at least this worked for me! See bug 364158.
